Health and safety concerns
Chop saw w/ broken guard has been repaired. Machine usage qualifications to be pursued for new members.

Issues re: website have been resolved, site is now up and running.

Still seeking location for shed relocation. Founders location off the table.

 Trap pricing for individuals as of yet unchanged.

Board agrees to apply for 3 year grant from NCC, providing 10K per annum.

  • Further charity funding sought. Philip in contact w/ Chris over funding for new equipment.

  • Hal Martin formally welcomed and inducted as treasurer.

New    
Approval request for Makita skill saw and DeWalt combo set from Wayne. Granted.

Financial report, as provided by Grant

Invoices sent out for Todd Valley and other traps. 11K in total.
5.6K incoming for current batch of traps.

100 dollar donation from Willem Kraak.

  • Appreciation stated for Colin over continued push to sell traps.

  • Financial report approved and seconded.Outside correspondence, presented by Grant is as follows
    Disability Community Support seeking involvement with a shed. Will be directed towards the Waimea shed.
     Woman seeking to join shed. Not possible at this time.

Key details of shed report, presented by Wayne are as follows

Shed operating with up to 25 members each day

Several community projects have been completed, including a mud kitchen for Atawhai Play Centre by Robert Shade. Other projects put on hold by Covid lockdown have been completed.

Requests for traps continue to be fulfilled to a high standard. Appreciation given for Colin’s leadership in this. Partnership with NCC on this project ongoing.

  • Sunday openings continuing, attracting members who cannot attend during week.

Action List
Contact Dennis w/ thanks over resolving Mitre 10 container issue.

Colin to conduct price check on new compressor. Approx. 1.3K for one to suit shed needs.

Earmuff stock take, often running low.

Revise rule that allows family of
shed members to attend. Requires approval.

Annual General Meeting Details
Must be held before end of August.
Annual financials needed.

Voting and formal nomination of members to take place.

All business members wish to address must be presented 7 days beforehand.

At this time, AGM is to be held on Thursday 20th August within the shed.
